Vagamunda – Who she is …

logo3Vagamunda likes to travel. She wants to treat herself well and listens carefully to her needs. Sometimes she sees things clearer when she hits the road. For her, to travel means to get inspired. To be able to be better connected with herself, Vagamunda seeks simplicity and peacefulness, away from the distraction and consumption of mass tourism.

marie 1 061Vagamunda travels consciously, as she is aware of the fact that certain resources are ending. That’s why she wants to support organic farming and the local production of goods to leave less of a carbon footprint. When she moves from A to B, her intention is to minimize environmental burdens as possible.

What she is really interested in while traveling, is to learn about people’s ways of living in their local communities. She wants to get in touch with others in a respectful way. She cares about the common good and ecosocially responsible consumption.

Sometimes it’s not easy at all to find these places and people, these products and activities a long the way or in a place she has never been before.

That’s why she has set off to find others who think the same way.

Do you also think that the money we spend should benefit the local community? Do you also want to support local economy in favour of local communities? THIS PLATFORM IS FOR YOU!

Little Story of Vagamunda’s appearanceP_20141019_191001-MOTION

In spring time of the year 2014 Stefan and Marie met in Bonn, the place on the banks of the river Rhine, that both of them called their home at that time. Marie has actually only spent a little while living there but won’t let go the connection she feels towards the people she has met in this town.

Stefan lives there happily even after.

So, Stefan and Marie met in a group of freelancers. They exchanged what they had been passionate about in their lives until then and finally decided to start a project together. Both had travelled a lot – mainly in a job-related context. For Marie it was an affair of the heart to be involved in the organization of a tourism that includes head, soul and body. Stefan encouraged her to approach the digital world and to create a platform for this purpose. Little time passed and Vagamunda was created.

She likes to travel and doesn’t want to forget about what she really cares about while she is on her way: a positive impact on local community, the environment and on herself.
